Play It, Hear It, Try It at CMEE’s 2nd annual Music Fair on Saturday, June 14th. Sponsored by The Sag Harbor Express, the Children’s Museum of the East End will transform into an aural experience with hands-on, interactive stations and well-known East End performers offering kids the opportunity to learn about what makes the area so musically unique. Attendees can participate in an improvisational mural painting alongside artist Bob Crimi and musician Jim Turner, jam with Music Together By The Dunes’s Ina Ferrara, sing along with Inda Eaton, enjoy a Katherine C.H.E. production, create their own tin drum and rain stick, have their face painted, and explore instruments throughout the museum grounds.

Ina has lived in the area since 1981, raising her children here and being an integral part of the music community. As a soprano with The Choral Society of the Hamptons she served on the Board of Directors, including as VP, and is a lead soprano and soloist with St. Mark’s Church in Westhampton Beach. Ina also performs at special events on the East End. As Music Together is celebrating 25 years, Ina will be celebrating 10 years as teacher and director of Music Together by the Dunes. Inda Eaton is a singer-songwriter and educator. Inda co-founded Ideas to Inspire™ – a music infused supplemental education program that explores inspiration, song writing and self expression through programs, workshops, individual instruction and public events. (Official Site)
In over 30 years as an acclaimed guitarist and harmonica player Jim Turner has performed in every conceivable type of venue both solo and with the Jim Turner Band. He has also recorded albums, played on TV and radio and appeared in musicals both on and off Broadway. (Official Site)

Singer, Songwriter, Emcee, Author, and Event Producer, Katherine C. H. E. grew up in Music City (Nashville, TN) believing that life is full of music — singing folk, gospel, and bluegrass.
