Please join the Children’s Museum of the East End on Wednesday, March 8 at the Bryant Park Grill to celebrate the incredible contributions of Abby Levy and Amy Tarr, longtime Board Directors, and Bryan Cho of Related Companies. Benefiting the Museum’s outreach to underserved communities on the East End, this festive evening event features cocktails, dinner, and a live auction.
A long-time supporter of the Children’s Museum, Bryan Cho is an Executive Vice President at Related Companies and a managing partner of the firm’s New York and California development divisions. Since joining Related in 2000, Mr. Cho has led more than $7 billion in development, creating nearly 6,000 new residences and over 6 million square feet of commercial and institutional non-profit space. A graduate of Princeton University, Mr. Cho lives in Manhattan and the East End with his wife Jessica, their three children and two dogs.
Abby Levy is a two-term member of the Board of Trustees. She initially joined the Children’s Museum as a member in 2008 and then co-chaired its Family Fair fundraiser, helping to increase the event’s income by 30%. After being elected to the Board in 2012, she served as Board Secretary and chaired the Strategic Planning Committee that developed the Museum’s new five-year plan and updated its mission in 2015. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and strategy development, she is currently President of Thrive Global, a corporate and consumer well-being and productivity platform.
A three-time Chairperson of the Children’s Museum, Amy Tarr was initially elected to the Board in 2009 and helped to steer it through the fiscal crisis. After serving as Vice Chair, she was first elected Board Chair in 2012, transformed the governance of the Board and chaired the Museum’s successful capital campaign. Ms. Tarr began fundraising for the Museum in 2008, chairing the City benefit and then co-founding the Family Fair. In addition to her charity efforts with the Children’s Museum and other nonprofit organizations, Ms. Tarr performs as a singer/songwriter throughout the New York metropolitan area.
