This weekly family class is all about creative discovery and introducing children to basic visual concepts such as line, shape, color and texture. During each session, we’ll practice tearing, cutting, mixing, pouring, pinching and more as we make original pieces with varied media and everyday objects. Activities will include watercolor exploration, mixed media collage, sand arts, clay & shell creations and more! In addition, each class includes story time and creative movement.
This art class for kids includes an art supplies, curriculum guide, and take-home extension activities.
Ages: 18 months – 4 years
Time: 9:15am – 10am
Session 1 (Thursdays): 7/4, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25
Session 2 (Thursdays): 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22
Cost: $180/session for Museum Members; $250/session for non-members.
