Baby & Me

“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, led by CMEE Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months. Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members
Wednesday, April 22nd
CMEE in the Studio
3:30pm – 4:30pm
“CMEE in the Studio,” is a new art class developed especially for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Meeting on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, “CMEE in the Studio” will provide children and their caregivers an opportunity to play, explore and create art projects using a variety of media. Designed to foster creativity, literacy, fine motor skills, and decision-making skills, the class runs from April 1 to June 3. Space is limited. Join us for a celebration of East End Latin culture on Saturday, April 25th from 12:30 noon – 2:30pm (rain or shine!) at the first ever CMEE FERIA! It will be a day of food, music, art, and—most importantly—fun for the entire family. Ages: All ages. Cost: Free for everyone! Tasting Ticket (available day of the event): $5. Space is limited. Unete a la celebración de la cultura latina del ‘East End’, por primera vez feria CMEE! El sábado 25 de abril de 12:30 a 2:30pm (aunque llueva). CMEE brings the fantastical sights of the bigtop to you on the last Sunday of every month! Children will mix a batter made of all natural ingredients and while waiting for the finished product—Belgian waffles in amazing circus shapes—they’ll be able to slice their own strawberries and bananas. Then they’ll get to top it all off with whipped cream they make themselves. Fun for kids, delicious for everyone! Ages: Kids of all ages! Lego Club at CMEE
10:00am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $10 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
