Gentle Separation Option

Super Soccer Stars
9:45am – 12:15pm (extended day option available for ages 4-5 from 12:15pm-2:15pm)

All Super Soccer Stars classes are based on age-specific curricula created by a combination of early childhood, soccer, and behavioral specialists to guarantee that each child is learning and having a blast from the moment the whistle blows. Kick & Play is a fun-filled movement program designed for parents and toddlers to explore the world of physical activity with pre-soccer skills. Yummy Yoga

It’s never too early to salute the sun. CMEE has teamed up with Jen Proudman of Yummy Yoga NYC for a yoga class designed specifically for families. In this weekly workshop, families enjoy a fun, imaginative approach to yoga that is great for developing minds and bodies. Classes include a mix of yoga, music, dance, games, storytelling and art. Ages: 2 – 6 years. Cost: $135 for members, $145 for non-members.

CMEE Play! In The Kitchen

“In the Kitchen” is a fun, hands-on workshop dedicated to providing parents fun, quality time with their child as well as the opportunity to create delicious, healthy recipes. Using seasonal, organic produce generously donated by Balsam Farms, children practice a variety of fine motor skills such as mixing, measuring, pouring, weighing, stirring and mashing while learning about nutrition, making new friends and experiencing new tastes. Ages: 2 – 4 years. Cost: $150 for members/$160 for non-members (cost includes $15 material fee)

Ride For A Cause

On Tuesday, August 12th at 1:30PM, please join CMEE and Cougar Town’s Christa Miller at the Soulcycle Watermill studio for an afternoon spin benefiting the Museum. Whether you’re a SoulCycle pro or are new to spinning, sign up for a rocking ride and claim your bike today! In addition to a fantastic workout for a great cause, attendees will also receive a limited addition CMEE/SoulCycle tank top!

Spanish Immersion
3pm – 5pm

In this language immersion program, children practice their Spanish speaking skills while singing songs, playing games, creating original works of art, and making new friends at CMEE. Taught by a CMEE Educator and native-Spanish speaker, this program makes it fun for your child to improve his or her ability to communicate in Spanish. Ages: 5 – 7 years. Cost: $300 for members/$330 for non-members.

Tim and the Space Cadets
6pm – 8pm (doors open at 5:30)

Brooklyn-based Tim and the Space Cadets play songs about the important things in life: pizza parties, snow days, and summer vacations. Songwriters Tim Kubart and Matt Puckett weave their own childhood memories through textured pop tunes, rockers, and lullabies. Doors open at 5:30pm. Rain date is the following day. CMEE Play! – In The Garden

In this farm-to-table program, children will be introduced to the plant life cycle and other basic elements of sustainable gardening. Each week, families tend CMEE’s community garden and enjoy songs, stories and projects related to gardening. Some activities include: cooking with vegetables and herbs that they harvest themselves, visiting Madoo Conservancy (during the second week of each session), and various art projects using items from the garden and local farm stands. Ages: 2 – 4 years. Cost: $150 for members/$160 for non-members (cost includes $15 material fee).

Baby & Me
10:30am – 11:30am

“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, they hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of activities. Ages: 2 months – 16 months.  Cost: Free for members, $15/session for non-members

Arabian Nights

Please join CMEE on Saturday, August 16th for Arabian Nights – a Moroccan fête for the grown-ups! The summer celebration’s collection of entertainment—belly dancers, a tournament on our newly-opened mini golf course, games of chance, a silent auction, Middle-Eastern cuisine, and music by the critically acclaimed DJ Hesta Prynn—makes this the do-not-miss fundraiser of the summer. All proceeds from Arabian Nights will directly benefit CMEE’s ongoing capital campaign, updating the museum’s exhibits and ensuring CMEE’s long term sustainability.
