Baby and Me

“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Every Tuesday (when the Museum is closed to the public), moms, dads, and caregivers can have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, led by CMEE Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months. October Schedule: 10/14, 10/21, 10/29. Cost: Free for members, $10/non-members. Space is limited. Friday, December 5th

Pizza & Pajama Night – Maisy Makes Gingerbread & Windmill Lighting
6:00pm – 7:30pm

The first Friday of every month is Pizza & Pajama Night at the Museum! This month, kids will enjoy pizza (of course!), an interactive reading of Lucy Cousin’s Maisy Makes Gingerbread, and open play in the exhibits. Children will also learn how to make their very own gingerbread. A CMEE educator will help them measure and combine the ingredients, roll the dough, cut out holiday shapes, and prepare it to take home and bake. Kids attending this month’s Pizza & Pajama Night are also in for a special holiday treat…we’ll be lighting the Windmill in the exhibit space! Ages: Children of all ages. Trivia Night Fundraiser @ Townline BBQ
7:00pm – 10:00pm

The Children’s Museum of the East End is pleased to announce its first ever Trivia Night fundraiser! On Friday, December 5th, please join us at Sagaponack’s own Townline BBQ for an evening of friendly competition, prizes, and laughter as we put your mastery of useless information to the test! The entry fee is $10/per player (up to five grownups per team). The night of the event, we’ll also be picking winners for a brunch for two at the Mill House Inn, a Friend Level membership to CMEE, and a 50/50 raffle. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…it’s time for our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops! Let your child’s imagination run wild as we invite them to decorate their own (pre-built) gingerbread house with a selection of vivid and vibrant goodies. We can’t wait to see what they come up with this year! Ages: Children of all ages (the younger ones will need some parental guidance, though) Cost: $20 for members per house, $30 for non-members per house (includes admission to the Museum). Sunday, December 7th

Lego Club at CMEE
10:00am – noon

Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $10 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
