Baby & Me

“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, led by CMEE Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. Wednesday, March 4th
CMEE in the Studio – SOLD OUT

“CMEE in the Studio,” is a new art class developed especially for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Meeting on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, “CMEE in the Studio” will provide children and their caregivers an opportunity to play, explore and create art projects using a variety of media. Designed to foster creativity, literacy, fine motor skills, and decision-making skills, the class runs from January 14 to March 25.

Pizza and Pajama Night – Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
6pm – 7:30pm
Join us for a pizza a pajama night of the midwinter jicker variety. We’ll be celebrating the creator of Horton, Yurtle the Turtle, as well as the Cat in the Hat…Dr. Seuss! After reading one of his classic stories and enjoying pizza, kids attending this monthly Friday night event will make a special craft inspired by the beloved children’s author. Following the hands-on activity, kids will end the evening with open play in the Museum! Ages: All ages. Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members Space is limited. CMEE Play! In The Kitchen – French Toast Sticks

You better save your appetite for this In The Kitchen family workshop…we’re making french toasts sticks! Kids will crack, whisk, season, dip and shake as they learn how to make this tasty not-just-for-breakfast snack. After cooking, kids will finish them off with fresh berries and homemade, hand-shaken whipped cream. Yum! Ages: Parents with children ages 3 – 6. Lego Club at CMEE

Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $10 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
