Annual Celebration of the Long Pond Greenbelt
10:00am – 1:00pm

Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt (FLPG), the South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) and the Peconic Land Trust invite the whole family to enjoy and celebrate the beautiful fall colors of the Greenbelt. Come join us for games, crafts, hikes, and information about the Greenbelt. Take a migratory bird walk with naturalist, birder, and published author John Turner (10:30am), a reptile hike with “Snake-Man” Chris Chapin (11am), meet live animals from the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and more! 2nd Annual Rocket Day
10:00am – noon

Please join us for our 2nd Annual Rocket Day! Children of all ages will make and launch their own rockets (with staff member guidance, of course) in CMEE’s own back yard! Projects for kids of all ages. Ages: Children of all ages! Cost: Free.
