Volunteering at CMEE is a rewarding experience

There is always room for a helping hand at CMEE. Volunteers are an essential part of the CMEE experience and they make an important difference to the staff and the many visitors who come through our doors. Volunteers can work alongside CMEE staff and educators and lend their artistic talents to hands-on projects in the drop-in Art Studio or during classes and workshops - an ideal situation for creative art enthusiasts looking for a weekday or weekend opportunity. Those volunteers comfortable interacting with visitors may be interested in assisting on the floor of the museum. Other volunteer possibilities include assisting in CMEE’s gift shop, assisting with community programs and special events and assisting with amphitheatre events during the warmer season. In fact, we have opportunities which can suit almost any interest and schedule.

Overall, a volunteer position at CMEE is flexible and is ideal for those looking for a consistent weekday and/or weekend opportunity as well as those looking for variety in their schedule.
