Calling all aspiring young chefs! In The Kitchen is a hands-on workshop where families have an opportunity to create delicious, healthy recipes using seasonal, organic produce generously donated by local farms. Kids will practice a variety of fine motor skills such as mixing, measuring, pouring, stirring and mashing while learning about nutrition, making new friends, and experiencing new tastes.
The goal of this kids’ unique culinary experience is not only to have fun with food but also to teach the fundamentals of cooking. Program includes an apron and take-home recipes.
Ages: Parents and caregivers with children 2 – 4 years
Dates: 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26
Cost: $180/session for Museum Members; $250/session for non-members.
