Dear friends,
The Children’s Museum of the East End’s primary concern is the health of our children and community. Since “social distancing” has been shown to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Children’s Museum of the East End will be closed temporarily starting tomorrow, March 14. Although there are no reported cases of COVID-19 associated with the Children’s Museum, we are taking this step as a precaution to promote the safety of our patrons, staff and community.
While we’re closed, I encourage everyone to check out our website, Facebook page and Instagram feed for guided activities, videos, and at-home enrichment opportunities. We’ll take this opportunity to complete an early spring cleaning in preparation for our reopening. And don’t worry about Domino the Bunny; he’s taken up temporary residence at a staff member’s home.
We will let you know as soon as possible when we can welcome everyone back to the Children’s Museum. In the meantime, we hope you’ll still make plenty of time to play!
