I have worked at CMEE for almost four years now this will be my fourth year teaching, you also can see me making an appearance at front disk during the Fall-Spring. I am studying Communications at school currently. I love to take photos and meet new people! Can’t wait to see you this summer at CMEE!

I love creating a connection with each child. My coworkers tell me that I have a particular skill for connecting with quiet or shy children. I believe it is important to make a child feel comfortable with whatever stage of separation they may be in, in order to build their confidence. CMEE’s Kids Club is a “small group” program so, we are able meet and address the needs of each child at the child’s pace.

[expand title=”What is one of your favorite memories from summers at CMEE?“]
To see how much they grow in just eight weeks is amazing. It is such a treat to see friendships develop between the kids, and watch their personalities emerge. I can’t wait to meet my new little friends this summer!

[expand title=”What is an activity families can do right now at home?“]
At CMEE we love letting kids explore recycled materials. Items like paper towel tubes, or bottle caps are things children have access to at home, and allow their creativity to take center stage. Another thing the kids LOVE is our marble run set. It is amazing to see how their ideas develop over time through trial and error.
Collect items from home including cardboard, tubes, egg crates, and whatever you can find to create your own marble run. I recommend making the marble run by taping things onto a wall. Will you have to set up tubes on an angle? Will your marble or small ball make it all the way through? This activity could last 5 minutes, or 5 weeks, let your child lead the way. Leave it set up and revisit it each day. Kids will formulate a plan over time. And, hey, if it doesn’t work you will end up with some pretty cool ramps and jumps for toy cars!
