Musikgarten: Dance With Me

Through singing and rocking, rhythm exercises, traveling movement, active listening, instrument exploration, finger play, and other activities, this 10-week program is designed to prepare your little one for school and lay the foundation for music literacy, music aptitude, and a life-long love of music. Ages: Parents and caregivers with children up to 4 years. Cost: $240 for Museum Members, $290 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by the Museum’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. Ages: Parents and caregivers with children age 16 to 36 months. Cost: Free for Museum Members, $24 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum). Musikgarten: Cycle of Seasons – Winter

Promote a lifelong love of music while preparing your child for success in learning a musical instrument! Using music from around the world as a backdrop, the 10-week program cultivates music literacy through dance, movement, singing, instrument exploration, tonal and rhythmic patterns, active listening, imaginative play, and more! Ages: Parents and caregivers with children 2 to 5 years. Cost (10-week series)*: $240 for Museum Members, $290 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.
All Day

Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. In addition to a noon reading of Shane W. Evans’ “We March” on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, kids will add their hand-prints to our commUNITY canvas, and learn more about the civil rights leader’s impact with a specially curated collection of age-appropriate books. Ages: Parents and caregivers with children of all ages! Cost: Free for Museum Members, $12 per child for non-members (included with Museum admission). Sunday, January 14th

Lego Club at the Children’s Museum
10am – noon

Join us every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with Museum visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost: Free for Museum Members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
