Musikgarten: Sing With Me
9:30am – 10:15am

Through singing and rocking, rhythm exercises, traveling movement, active listening, instrument exploration, finger play, and other activities, this 12-week program is designed to prepare your little one for school and lay the foundation for music literacy, music aptitude, and a life-long love of music. Every activity has a specific purpose intended to facilitate your child’s gross and fine motor skill development, cognitive development, physical development, and emotional intelligence. Tuesday, November 14th

Baby & Me
11:30am – 12:30pm

“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the weekly session, led by Museum Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. Tot Spot
10:45am – 11:45am

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by the Museum’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. Ages: Parents and caregivers with children age 16 to 36 months. Cost: Free for Museum Members, $24 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum). 2-For-1 Museum Mini Golf
3pm – 5pm

Hit the kid-sized links every Wednesday afternoon!* Families can enjoy our science-themed mini golf course with a special 2-for-1 rate! Cost: $5 for the rental of two clubs.

Promote a lifelong love of music while preparing your child for success in learning a musical instrument! Using music from around the world as a backdrop, the 12-week program cultivates music literacy through dance, movement, singing, instrument exploration, tonal and rhythmic patterns, active listening, imaginative play, and more! After School Lego League
4pm – 5pm

Everything is awesome during our weekly After School Lego League! With instruction and guidance from a member of Museum’s Play Staff, kids attending this drop-off workshop will put their Lego skills to the test with a new challenge every week. From bridges to zip lines, this program is designed for builders looking to get a little more out of their Lego. Ages: 6 – 10 years. Music Together By The Dunes

This joyful early childhood music program has generations of fans across the globe and instills a lifelong love of music and happy memories! It’s a delightful way to share music with your child and meet new friends. During this incredible world renowned research-based music and movement program, families enjoy singing, dancing, rhythm and tonal patterns, instrument play, improvisational music play and rhymes. What Are You Thankful For?
All Day

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we’re taking this week to ask Museum visitors: “What are you thankful for?” We’ll provide the supplies so kids (and grownups!) can write, draw, color, and create personalized celebrations of gratitude for display in the Museum lobby. Ages: Families and caregivers with children of all ages. Cost: Free for Museum Members, $12 for non-members (included with admission to the Museum). Saturday, November 18th

In The Kitchen: Cornbread Mini Muffins
10:00am – 10:45am

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we’re breaking out the mixing bowls to make one of our favorite sides…cornbread muffins! During this family workshop, kids will measure, mix, pour and portion as they learn the surprisingly simple process behind this welcome-at-any-gathering goody. Ages: Parents and caregivers with kids aged 3+. Cost: $5 per child for Museum Members, $19 per child for non-members (includes admission to the Museum). Sunday, November 19th

Lego Club at the Children’s Museum
10am – noon

Join us every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with Museum visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for Museum Members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
