Baby & Me
11:30am – 12:30pm

“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the weekly session, led by Museum Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities.

Wednesday, December 5th

Tot Spot
10:45am – 11:45am

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by the Museum’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly social-emotional development program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social-emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language.

Musikgarten: Cycle of Seasons – Fall
3:45 pm – 4:30pm

This fall, join Marlene Markard from Markard Music for Musikgarten: Cycle of Seasons!

Promote a lifelong love of music while preparing your child for success in learning a musical instrument! Using music from around the world as a backdrop, the 12-week program cultivates music literacy through dance, movement, singing, instrument exploration, tonal and rhythmic patterns, active listening, imaginative play, and more!

Friday, December 7th

Music Together By The Dunes
10:45am – 11:30am

This joyful early childhood music program has generations of fans across the globe and instills a lifelong love of music and happy memories! It’s a delightful way to share music with your child and meet new friends. During this incredible world renowned research-based music and movement program, families enjoy singing, dancing, rhythm and tonal patterns, instrument play, improvisational music play and rhymes.

Pizza & Pajama Night 
5:30pm – 7pm

December’s Pizza & Pajama Night is all about our pal, the Gruffalo! After sitting down for a delicious pizza dinner and an interactive read-aloud of Julia Donaldson’s classic “The Gruffalo,” kids attending this monthly event will make an art project based on the characters in the book and enjoy open play in the exhibits.

Saturday, December 8th

Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops – SOLD OUT
10am + 11am

This holiday season, let your child’s confectionery creativity run wild during our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops! Budding architects will choose their materials (vivid and vibrant edible goodies from our candy buffet), plan their designs, and decorate their own pre-built gingerbread houses.

Sunday, December 9th

iCAMP: Innovators Camp
10am – 11:30am

Join us for a STEAM program designed to develop campers into life-long innovators and instill confidence to prepare them for their future. Kids will develop the technical skills necessary to fill the growing demand in the technology industry through a specialized curriculum including Coding, Robotics, Drones, Virtual Reality & 3D Printing.

Lego Club at the Children’s Museum
10am – Noon

Join us every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with Museum visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost: Free for Museum Members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).

We have thousands of Lego, but can always use more. To help the Museum continue to build this program, we are looking for Lego donations! Please call 631-537-8250 to donate!
