The Education Director provides visionary leadership for all educational programs, initiatives, and experiences at The Children’s Museum of the East End. This senior leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive educational framework that aligns with the museum's mission, advances best practices in informal learning, and serves a diverse community of children and families. The Education Director collaborates with Development, Marketing, and Community Partnerships teams, and represents the museum's educational mission with external stakeholders, school districts, and community organizations.
The Visitor Services Assistant is often the first point of contact for families visiting CMEE and plays an essential role in creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging museum experience for every guest. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, this position supports daily museum operations including admissions, memberships, visitor engagement, and front desk support.
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, organized, and enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Visitor Services Assistants may also support special events, birthday parties, and programs as needed.
The Children’s Museum of the East End is looking for an undergraduate student in the Long Island area who shows an interest in Fundraising, Event Planning and/or Non-profit Management.
