Musikgarten: Dance With Me (SOLD OUT)

This fall, join Marlene Markard from Markard Music for Musikgarten: Dance With Me! Through singing and rocking, rhythm exercises, traveling movement, active listening, instrument exploration, finger play, and other activities, the 12-week program is designed to prepare your little one for school and lay the foundation for music literacy, music aptitude, and a life-long love of music. Every activity has a specific purpose intended to facilitate your child’s gross and fine motor skill development, cognitive development, physical development, and emotional intelligence.

Baby & Me

“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the weekly session they learn the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months (pre-walkers). Cost: Free for members, $12 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Puppet Playgroups (SOLD OUT)

This fall, please join us for the return of the Puppet Playgroups! Led by Goat on a Boat at Bay Street‘s founder and master puppeteer, Liz Joyce, each class in the 6-week series features 45 minutes of songs, interactive games and a Minkie the Monkey puppet show!

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by CMEE’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. After School Lego League

Everything is awesome during our weekly After School Lego League! With instruction and guidance from a member of CMEE’s Play Staff, kids attending this drop-off workshop will put their Lego skills to the test with a new challenge every week. Music Together by the Dunes

The Halloween Bash

Unfurl those capes, shine your tiaras, and break out the facepaint…it’s time for the Children’s Museum’s annual Halloween Bash! On Friday, October 21st between 4pm and 6pm, families are invited to join us for a fun-filled evening of ghoulish games, trick or treating, creepy crafts, a costume parade and more! Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
