Musikgarten: Clap With Me – SOLD OUT

This winter, join Marlene Markard from Markard Music for Musikgarten: Clap With Me! Through singing and rocking, rhythm exercises, traveling movement, active listening, instrument exploration, finger play, and other activities, the 12-week program is designed to prepare your little one for school and lay the foundation for music literacy, music aptitude, and a life-long love of music. Every activity has a specific purpose intended to facilitate your child’s gross and fine motor skill development, cognitive development, physical development, and emotional intelligence.

Baby & Me
11:30am – 12:30pm
“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the weekly session they learn the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months (pre-walkers). Cost: Free for members, $12 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. 2-For-1 Museum Mini Golf

Hit the kid-sized links every Wednesday afternoon! Families can enjoy our science-themed mini golf course with a special 2-for-1 rate! Cost: $5 for the rental of two clubs.

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by CMEE’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. Ages: 16 – 36 months. Cost: Free for members, $24 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum). Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. After School Lego League
4pm – 5pm
Everything is awesome during our weekly After School Lego League! With instruction and guidance from a member of CMEE’s Play Staff, kids attending this drop-off workshop will put their Lego skills to the test with a new challenge every week. From bridges to zip lines, this program is designed for builders looking to get a little more out of their Lego. Ages: 6 – 10. The Science of Snow

There’s no need to wait for the temperature to drop to have yourself a snow day…especially when you can make your own. In this family workshop, kids will learn how to turn a few simple ingredients into perfectly packable “snow.” Ages: Parents with children ages 3 – 6 years. Lego Club at CMEE
10am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
