Baby & Me

“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, led by CMEE Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months. Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members
Wednesday, May 20th
CMEE in the Studio
3:30pm – 4:30pm
“CMEE in the Studio,” is a new art class developed especially for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Meeting on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, “CMEE in the Studio” will provide children and their caregivers an opportunity to play, explore and create art projects using a variety of media. Designed to foster creativity, literacy, fine motor skills, and decision-making skills, the class runs from April 1 to June 3. Space is limited. Saturday, May 23rd
Local artist, Rossa Cole, invites you to contribute to one of the first art installations to be displayed CMEE’s backyard garden! Kids in this drop-off workshop will create solar-powered noisemakers and wind chimes that will hang from our favorite tree! The work will transform the garden into an interactive, sensory experience to be enjoyed by everyone who visits the Museum! Ages: 7 – 10. Let’s Get This Garden Started – CMEE Play! Art That Rocks

Please join us and local artist Lynn Leff as we create a work of art to be prominently displayed in the CMEE garden. Families will collaborate on a one-of-a-kind installation using recycled materials and clay that visitors to the Museum will experience and enjoy! Ages: Families with kids aged 2 – 6. Sunday, May 24th
Lego Club at CMEE
10am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $10 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
