Monday, January 16th
Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.
9am – 5pm
Families are invited to join us in the Museum lobby as we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday with a craft inspired by his famous “I Have A Dream” speech. Kids will also have the opportunity to learn more about the civil rights leader’s life with a visit to our specially curated library. Ages: Families with kids of all ages! Cost: Free for Museum Members, $12 for non-members (included with Museum admission).

Baby & Me
11:30am – 12:30pm
“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the weekly session they learn the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months (pre-walkers). Cost: Free for members, $12 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. 2-For-1 Museum Mini Golf

Hit the kid-sized links every Wednesday afternoon! Families can enjoy our science-themed mini golf course with a special 2-for-1 rate! Cost: $5 for the rental of two clubs.

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s newfound abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by CMEE’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. Ages: 16 – 36 months. Cost: Free for members, $24 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum). Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. After School Lego League
4pm – 5pm
Everything is awesome during our weekly After School Lego League! With instruction and guidance from a member of CMEE’s Play Staff, kids attending this drop-off workshop will put their Lego skills to the test with a new challenge every week. From bridges to zip lines, this program is designed for builders looking to get a little more out of their Lego. Ages: 6 – 10. Community Book Swap
10am – 2pm
We are thrilled to announce the first ever BOOK SWAP at the Children’s Museum! The premise is simple: Bring a book, take a book. We’ll also be reading stories throughout the day, serving hot cocoa, crafting custom bookmarks, and making sure everyone leaves with a new addition for their home library. Lego Club at CMEE
10am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
