Summer Kids Club

Looking for a unique and fun learning and socialization experience for your 3 – 4 year old? Try our half-day Kids Club! Kids in this daily drop-off program participate in a variety of creative activities including arts, outdoor play, music and movement, cooking and baking, group games and free play…all while learning to cooperate and share in an informal, yet structured environment. CMEE Play! In The Garden @ Bridge Gardens (SOLD OUT)

We’re thrilled to partner with Bridge Gardens and the Peconic Land Trust this summer for “In the Garden”! During this farm-to-table program, children will be introduced to the plant life cycle and other basic elements of sustainable gardening. Each week, families will meet at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton where they will enjoy songs, stories, and work on projects related to gardening.
Baby & Me
9:30am – 10:30am
“Baby & Me” is a program designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, they hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies, and participate in a variety of activities. CMEE Play! In The Kitchen

“In the Kitchen” is a fun, hands-on workshop designed to provide parents fun, quality time with their child as well as the opportunity to create delicious, healthy recipes. Using seasonal, organic produce generously donated by Balsam Farms, children practice a variety of fine motor skills such as mixing, measuring, pouring, weighing, stirring and mashing while learning about nutrition, making new friends and experiencing new tastes. With the guidance of an experienced potter, children will explore the possibilities of working with clay. Using their hands and basic pottery tools, they’ll design, shape, and glaze a variety a different projects. CMEE Play! Art (SOLD OUT)
10:15am – 11am
This weekly family class is all about creative discovery and introducing children to basic visual concepts such as line, shape, color and texture. During each session, we’ll practice tearing, cutting, mixing, pouring, pinching and more as we make original pieces with varied media and everyday objects. Activities will include watercolor exploration, mixed media collage, sand arts, clay & shell creations and more! In addition, each class includes story time and creative movement.

The 8th Annual Family Fair Fundraiser

Please join us for our 8th Annual Family Fair Fundraiser: “CMEE Celebrates Heroes” on Saturday, July 23, 2016 held right here at the Museum. From those found in comic books to the firefighters, police officers, teachers and other community heroes right here in the East End, we’re recognizing the individuals who make an impact each and every day! From 10:30am-1:30pm, families will enjoy games, crafts, rides, performances, food, and—most importantly—fun! Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the Fair.

Lego Club at CMEE
10am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $12 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
