Baby & Me
11:15am – 12:15pm
“Baby & Me” is designed specifically for parents of infants. Moms, dads, and caregivers have the opportunity to meet other parents with children the same age. During the sessions, led by CMEE Educator Leah Oppenheimer, they can hear the latest news about early childhood parenting, discuss developmental milestones, sing to their babies and participate in a variety of playful activities. For parents and their children age 2 to 16 months (pre-walkers).

Your “Baby and Me” grad is happiest when he or she is moving all about and exploring! Celebrate your child’s new found abilities and their increasing independence with Tot Spot! Led by CMEE’s Education Coordinator, Liz Bard, this weekly program provides toddlers with opportunities to explore, observe, and get moving in a program designed to encourage social emotional skills, fine motor skills and emerging language. CMEE In The Studio
3:30pm – 4:30pm
“CMEE in the Studio,” is an art class developed especially for children ages 2 to 4 years old. Meeting on Thursdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, “CMEE in the Studio” provides children and their caregivers an opportunity to play, explore and create art projects using a variety of media. Designed to foster creativity, literacy, fine motor skills, and decision-making skills, the class runs from March 24th – June 2nd. Children ages 3 1/2 to 4 can be dropped off with advance registration. Cost per session: $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. After School Lego League

Everything is awesome during our weekly After School Lego League! With instruction and guidance from a member of CMEE’s Play Staff, kids attending this drop-off workshop will put their Lego skills to the test with a new challenge every week. From bridges to zip lines, this program is designed for builders looking to get a little more out of their Lego. Ages: 6 – 10. Cost: Free for members/$10 for non-members. Saturday, May June 4th
On Saturday, June 4th from 4 – 6pm, families are invited to join us for a VIP artist’s reception and workshop with Grant Haffner! A resident of the East End for most of his life, Grant’s work is inspired by the country roads, local landmarks, and breathtaking landscapes that make the area so unique. Using a bold—and sometimes neon—color palette, his images vibrantly re-imagine the rural roadways we travel every day. Families attending this special event will be invited to create their own landscapes while enjoying light food and refreshments. Ages: Families with children of all ages! Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members (cost includes Museum admission). Space is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Lego Club at CMEE
10am – noon
Join CMEE every Sunday any time between 10am and noon for Lego Club at the Museum! We’re excited to share our love of all things Lego with CMEE visitors and encourage children to create original designs. Kids can leave their works-in-progress and plan future sessions with the staff. Ages: Children of all ages. Cost:Free for members, $10 for non-members (includes admission to the Museum).
